Recent Reads

Well lately my list of books to read has been starck. this is especially true now that the ap test is over. i only read books because well i need to know something for the open essay. Right? One of my most recent reads however has been the most intriguing novel Castaway.(It was actually recommended to me and i found it to be a good read) upon finishing however it occured to me that maybe it wasn't a novel but rather a screenplay. Good thing i played it safe on the big test. Maybe though this will give me a new avenue of reading. I have always wanted to read a good screenplay and my chance had finally arrived. I also hope to read the Communist Manifesto. I personally do not believe in communist ideals but it is also efective and a good choice to realize the ideals that another group of people believe. I am actually thinking about reading this book for the book talk. I have never really thought of reading the book until after i did my culture project for french. I don't believe personally that universal health care is the best choice for america but i was enriched after i started researching the working annd beliefs of universal healthcare. Although the ideas prsented by Marx has yet to occur it still would be enriching to learn about the sytem as a whole.
